Young kids need opportunities to develop their fine motor skills. Many of you incorporate letting kids develop those skills at storytime with art project–kids practice cutting, drawing, painting, picking up small objects, etc. I found a fun post at No Time for Flashcards recently with 25 playful ways to work on fine motor skills–some take a lot of prep and would work best for families to do at home, but others look like a lot of fun to try at the library.
