The coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, is impacting households, communities, and businesses. A new national survey shows that 1 in 5 households in the US have already had their income cut or stopped altogether. Thanks to our amazing partners at UW Madison Extension, there are some excellent resources for libraries to use on their websites, social media, and to help ourselves, as well!  There are answers and resources to help with questions about unemployment, applying for public insurance or food assistance, what to do if you can’t make your tax payment, what small businesses can do if their sales have dropped or stopped, what to do if you can’t make payments on loans, and much more.
