73 kids in grades K-5 were there from 10 am to 4 pm. As you can imagine, there were lots of details to manage, and Carol worked hard to choreograph the transitions to keep things from descending into chaos. A variety of activities (games, dancing, stories, a movie, and a visit from Amelia Bedelia) kept things hopping.

Aside from some planning and technical problems with the movie, the staff, volunteers and kids were all excited about how well this program went. Next time–and there will be a next time–they will require pre-registration to ease some of the anxiety of the unknown.
